VCNNHS Launches ARAL Reading and ARAL Math During End-of-Term Block
September 2, 2026 — Vicenta C. Nograles National High School (VCNNHS) commenced the implementation of the ARAL Reading and ARAL Math Programs as part of the opening activities for the End-of-Term Block for Term 1 of School Year 2026–2027.
The programs are being facilitated by designated Teacher-Tutors, who provide focused learning support to participating learners from Grades 7 to 12. Through guided sessions, the initiative aims to strengthen learners’ foundational skills in reading and mathematics while addressing identified learning gaps that may require further intervention and reinforcement.
The conduct of ARAL Reading and ARAL Math during the End-of-Term Block gives learners additional opportunities to improve essential competencies beyond regular classroom instruction. The sessions are designed to provide more focused assistance, allowing Teacher-Tutors to respond to the specific learning needs of participating students.
Reading and numeracy are among the most important foundations of academic success. Strong reading skills help learners better understand lessons across different subject areas, while mathematical proficiency develops logical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills needed in everyday life. Strengthening these competencies therefore contributes significantly to learners’ overall academic development and readiness for succeeding lessons.
The implementation of the programs also reflects the school’s continuing commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind. Through the dedication of Teacher-Tutors and the active participation of learners, VCNNHS seeks to make the End-of-Term Block a meaningful opportunity for remediation, reinforcement, and academic growth.
As the activities continue, VCNNHS remains committed to providing responsive learning interventions that support learners in overcoming academic challenges and becoming more confident, capable, and prepared for the next term.

September 2, 2026 — Vicenta C. Nograles National High School (VCNNHS) officially began its End-of-Term Block for Term 1 of School Year 2026–2027 through the conduct of Bayanihan sa Paaralan, bringing together learners, teachers, and other school personnel for a school-wide general cleaning activity.
